CPFA Jazz Mavericks

The CPFA Jazz Mavericks is an extra-curricular performing ensemble that is part of the PA Leadership Charter School’s innovative Center for Performing and Fine Arts.
CPFA Jazz Mavericks favors a smaller jazz combo format with a wide instrumentation over the typical full-size big band, with a strong emphasis on every student studying and performing jazz improvisation.
The CPFA Jazz Mavericks perform 12 months of the year for both public and private events, performing a wide array of jazz standards and original student compositions.
The band wishes to thank Mr. Snyder, the Penncrest band volunteers, and the Tony DiAngelis Quartet for their part in making today’s event possible.
