CPFA Jazz Mavericks

PALCS

CPFA Jazz Mavericks are the top instrumental performing ensemble at PA Leadership Charter School’s innovative Center for Performing and Fine Arts in West Chester, PA. The band performs throughout the fall in free public performances and paid gigs, all school events, and a busy winter/spring jazz season. CPFA is a proud member of the Cavalcade of Bands Association and PMEA. Many band members go on to receive scholarships to higher education institutions like Berklee College of Music, University of the Arts, Michigan, University of Florida, The New School, and many others majoring in music performance, composition, music business and technology, music education, and music therapy. Every CPFA student receives instruction in music performance, improvisation, sight-singing, theory, arranging, and composing. CPFA is by audition for PALCS students grades 6-12 state-wide. Auditions and Open Houses for the 2023-2024 school year begin in February. Visit palcs.org/cpfa for more information.
