Garnet Valley Jaguar Jazz Band
The Jaguar Jazz Band is part of an overall jazz program at Garnet Valley High School that includes two jazz bands, a small jazz combo, and a New-Orleans-style Brass Band. The Jaguar Jazz Band rehearses weekly and travels to several competitions and festivals throughout the school year, as well as numerous performances in our community and school. The Jaguar Jazz Band performs a variety of styles within the jazz genre, with a particular focus on the great masters of this great American Art Form, including Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Thad Jones, among many others. The GVHS Jaguar Jazz band would like to thank Mr. Snyder and the students and parents of Penncrest High School for organizing such a wonderful event, and we hope you enjoy our performance.
