Ms. Egan is a 2016 graduate of Penncrest High School where she spent four years as a member of the marching band and indoor color guards. She attended West Chester University and spent five years as a member of the Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band before graduating in 2020 with a degree in Communication Studies and Political Science. Emily spent six years as a member of Main Line Independent Winterguard and served two years as captain before aging out in 2022. She has previously taught the color guard at Upper Merion High School and the indoor color guard at Methacton High School. 

Outside of teaching color guard, Emily works as the Marketing Coordinator for Women’s Animal Center in Bensalem. She is a photographer and videographer in her spare time and has served as the Media Team Manager for Main Line Independent since 2023. She has also done work for USBands, MAIN, and WGI in the past.
