Make a Tax Deductible Contribution

It's a well known fact that the Rose Tree Media School District only pays for certain band related expenses. To sustain our operations, provide the high-quality support our children deserve, and have the flexibility to respond to unexpected needs quickly, we incur expenses that are covered by contributions made by families, friends, and alumni, and money raised from fundraising. Below are only a few examples of the Band's expenses during the school year: 

  • Teachers, Techs, and Choreographers used outside of class time;

  • Music, Drill Design, Show Design, and Choreography;

  • Food, including Meals, Snacks, Drinks and Water for the Students during Away Shows and Competitions;

  • Flag and Prop Material, Design, and Construction;

  • Uniform Maintenance, Replacement, and Upkeep;

  • Instrument Purchase and Maintenance;

  • Entry Fees for Competitions;

  • Travel Expenses such as Airfare, Hotel, and Bus rentals for Competitions requiring Overnight Stays.

If you would like to support the Band program and make a donation, please click on the "Donate" button below and follow the prompts. You do not need to have a PayPal account to make a donation. The donation can be made safely with a credit card.  

NOTE: Penncrest Band Parent Association, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, and therefore, you can deduct your donation on your federal taxes. To deduct donations, you must file a Schedule A with your tax form.
