Tony Deangelis

After graduating from Berklee in 1990, Tony moved to Philadelphia and organized several groups that performed throughout the Northeastern United States.

Through the years Tony has performed with countless musicians, recorded many CD’s, recorded soundtracks for NFL Films, and played in numerous clubs and festivals. In 2005, Tony released his debut CD, Everybody’s Song, Volumes I/II, featuring Ralph Bowen, Jim Ridl, and Matthew Parrish. For the past five years Tony has been a part of the Jason Newman Trio. The trio unveiled their first CD, Entwined, in January 2015.

Tony currently lives in Broomall, PA where he works with the Penn Crest High School jazz band, teaches private drum lessons, and plays in various clubs.
